Fishery Management Work parties

A reminder of the Work party dates contained in the April 2009 members newsletter as follows:

19 April Shillinglee
3 May Lythe Hill
17 May Lythe Hill
24 May Imbhams
31 May Shillinglee

The major work for this close season is completion of reinstating the smaller island at Lythe Hill and if time permits some work to stop the erosion of the pond head.

Shillinglee will include hard swim repairs, track repairs and a general tidy up.

Members are reminded work should only be carried out on the above dates, if a member is unable to make a specified date but wishes to undertake work then this has to be agreed in advance with James Hunphrey first.

Work parties start at 9am until 1pm at the earliest

The Society has been fortunate to have such a dedicated and willing group of members who have attended work parties helping to share the workload.

If you do attend please bring along suitable tools and protective clothing and be there for 9am start and to work until 1pm or later. Each work party has a team leader who will allocate jobs to those there.
