Joining the society
To join please download from the website the correct application form.
Once completed post to the Membership Secretary whose address is shown on the form together with two passport sized photographs, a cheque covering the subscription and a large stamped addressed envelope. The current subscriptions are on a separate section of the website.
Prospective members are required to attend a new members meeting, the Membership Secretary will contact you as soon as a date is fixed with the location and is. New members meetings are held weekday evenings at 8pm at Chiddingfold Club near Haslemere. If there is any change to this venue you will be notified when arranging the meeting
You may be asked questions arising from your application form and details of the Society and waters will be explained as well as an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
No decision is given at the meeting, instead you will be advised as soon as possible afterwards if your application has been successful or not. If successful will be sent your membership book and card. If unsuccessful your photographs and cheque will be sent back and no reason will be given. If unsuccessful you are free to reapply again in the future if you wish to do so.
